Clerical Assistant Level 1

Staff the school switchboard and reception.

Respond to queries from parents and visitors.

Undertake word processing of school correspondence.

Teaching Assistants

 

We are currently seeking to employ Teaching Assistants  for the September 2017.

Application Process

 

Applicants will be invited to spend a day in school. The day will be spent in three classes and will cover the range of students we have in the school. This is your opportunity to experience the role of a teaching assistant in a special school but also for our staff to evaluate how you work with students across the age and ability ranges.

 

The next stage of the process is formal interview.

 

If you are successful and offered a position, the role will start in June subject to satisfactory references and DBS checks.

Currently we have no vacancies for MDSAs.

 

Experience is not necessary but we are looking for people with energy, enthusiasm and a positive attitude. Every day is different so we need people who are resilient and work well as part of a team.

 

Applicants will be invited to spend a lunch time in school.  This is your opportunity to experience the role of an MDSA in a special school but also for our staff to evaluate how you work with students .

 

The next stage of the process is formal interview.

If you are successful and offered a position, the role will start in January subject to satisfactory references and DBS checks.
