Paying for School Dinners - Parents Guide

School Meals

Relish! is our school meal provider. https://relishschoolfood.co.uk/index.php 

 

Their Parent portal will give you access to the school menu and also the recipes they use.

If you would like help to register please contact the school office.

 

Meals are ordered by classes during registration. To ensure that meals are ordered and charged correctly:

 

- If a student arrives late, parents need to advise if a meal is required by 8:45am latestOtherwise, a packed lunch is required to be brought in by parents.

 

- If a student leaves early and does not require a meal, then parents need to advise classes no meal is required by 8:45am latest. All meals ordered will be charged.

 

Cost and payments

School meals costs £3.50 from 1st September 2024.

 

From 16th April 2024, school meal payments must be made via PlusPay.  PlusPay is the online payments service provided by ParentMail. Accounts must  be topped up by parents and charges for meals are taken daily.  

 

If you have any questions regarding paying for school dinners, please refer to the Paying for School Dinners - Parents Guide and the PlusPay Dinner Payments letter below or contact the school office. 

 

Students in receipt of free school meals will not need to make payments, and you can still view meals taken under 'payments'.

 

Since January 2020 the school has been serving Halal Meat.

 

Free School Meals

If you would like to apply for free school meals please go to

www.luton.gov.uk and apply online.

 

Please note you will need to be in receipt of the following benefits

  • Income Support
  • Income-based Jobseekers Allowance
  • Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
  • Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 the guaranteed element of State Pension Credit
  • Child Tax Credit (provide you’re not entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190)
  • Working Tax Credit run-on – paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit
  • Universal Credit
